Nice thread! You missed this 2019 article from the @VerusCommunity that explains how to solve MEV & many since. This has been done fully openly & testing for yrs, is available on Verus mainnet w/full support for Ethereum ERC20s and ERC721s imminent.

And now #Verus $VRSC solves #MEV in DeFi conversions by an order of magnitude more efficient as what was proposed by @VitalikButerin back in the days: Blockwise simultaneous solving of all conversions, which results in the same fair exchange rate in all directions w/o spread.

Sorry but your statement is wrong. You can run native MEV-resistant AMMs on UTXO architecture by simultaneously solving all DeFi transactions in a single block. Might not work on your platform of choice but it's definitely a thing.
